Graduate School Notebook: 1
The next few days I am going to post a few interesting little tid-bits of writing that I found last night while sifting through my old graduate school note books.
Some of them make sense, others do not.
I am writing on the blog not so much to share them, but so that I can free to toss them into the recycle bin yet somehow I know that my little diddies still exist somewhere......
Notebook Diddy One:
There is coming a day in which I know I will look at my husband and say that we have to make a change, that we have to head to sea or else I will go crazy. But, today is not that day. There are still children we long for who's faces and heartbeats we will be revealed to us as the years go by. This season now is the time for Curious George, diapers, and gardening. It is a beautiful season in its own accord and I write this to tell myself to not allow this season to be wasted. Yet, I know still that as they always do this season will change and I will find us, children capable and confident, upon the sea.
I do not know when I wrote it or why. Apparently, I must have been longing to sail which happens often even though I am pretty sure I would sink rapidly at my own panicking at which markers mean stay in the channel and which signify to proceed....
I must have also been full swing in motherhood here too, because of the Curious George reference and the diapers. Oddly, I am further into this season now with two boys running rampant and a little girl coming home soon.....Wonder what class I diddled this during...?
