Home Schooling Diary, Night before Day One

Tomorrow is the official day we begin Kindergarten.

Friday I was feeling tremendously grateful that we watched school buses pass by our front room window while snuggled up together with squirmy little brother and a well worn copy of Little Bear.

Saturday I was feeling the thrill of my curriculum. The smell of the books, the crisp pages, the just sharpened pencils, and the blank paper just waiting for creativity all had me giddy and eager for the start of this school year.

This brings me to today. Sunday night.  Although the gratitude is still there in abundance and the excitement of what we shall learn is still looming in the air all I keep thinking is this~

Maybe we can wait until Tuesday....

Its nerves.  A lot of nerves.

And, we are out of sausage and I promised my Moose that he would have sausage and biscuits for breakfast on the first day of this school year.

Yes, blame the lack of sausage.

Public Announcement:  Brabson Academy for International Studies will be closed tomorrow on account of sausage, or lack there of. Thank you.
