One day I found Finn putting some of my flowers into a vase, taking them out, and putting them back again. I have been trying to keep fresh flowers on our table this summer, which thanks to the farmers market has been a pretty easy goal to accomplish. This afternoon I put several containers, metal and glass, onto the boys table. I spread out a bunch of artificial flowers that have collected over the summer at garage sales. I also supplied the dudelets with a few pretty dollies.
Surprisingly, they had a blast!
I had no idea that Moose would enjoy putting a floral arrangement together.
Finn did as I expected and had fun placing flowers into different containers, dumping them, and starting over.
This was such an enjoyable play activity for a super hot, but rainy summer day.
