A Big Day!

Thanks to friends at In His Hands, RCC, and our home church KKFMC, our first fundraiser was a hit. We had a pretty darn huge yard sale, many friends lending helping hands, and perfect blue skies.
The grand total was almost a thousand dollars! We are splitting this with another ministry at our church, meaning we earned five hundred dollars today to help off set the cost of the program costs.

We are exhausted. But, oh, so thankful for a great yard sale!

I even picked up these sweet embroidered images of China to decorate her room.

We have a name, we think. But, no sharing yet!

Many thanks to a loving church family and friends for your hard work, support, and willingness to spend an entire Saturday eating doughnuts and hauling boxes of junk around!

And, to you, sweet girl somewhere in the Republic of China. We are one step closer to you. And this is how I feel about that from my tired head to my dirty hard working toes..........ready....WHAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
